What we do with the information we gather on our PC Repair Tracker System once a computer or electronic device has been booked in for repair with us.
We require this information to better understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons;
• Internal record keeping as we will need to contact you on completion of computer repairs.
• We use the information to allocate a unique work order number to label and idientify your computer.
• We may send emails to customers held on our mailing subscriptions list that containes our weekly handy computer tips and tutorials.
• We may issue you with a repair claim ticket, invoices or receipts by email or contact you by phone.

East Coast Computer Services may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. What we Collect.
We collect the following information when booking computers and other electronic devices in for repair are; your name, home address and other contact information including your email address and contact numbers. Your computer manufacturer's make and model and serial number are also recorded for identifications purposes.
Controlling your personal information
We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties. You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act. If you would like a copy of the information held on you please write to us to request it, an administration fee will be required. If you believe that any information we are holding on you is incorrect or incomplete, please write to or email us as soon as possible. We will promptly correct any information found to be incorrect.
Abandoned Computers / Hardware Diagnostics.
All of our customer's recovered data that is stored on our servers, or backup hard drives will be deleted after 60 days. Any computers that are diagnosed as non-repairable or not cost effective for repair will be disposed of if abandoned for over 60 days and will be destroyed or recycled in compliance with the data protection act at our sole discretion.
